This is a cottage for NON-SMOKERS only! If you don't want to travel with your own laptop, I can lend you a very small netbook to use during your stay.

Hidden away in the courtyard of Sansome House is a delightful fully modernised stone cottage. This is separate from the owner's house and has its own private garden. It is the only rental property in the grounds. The situation is particularly peaceful as long as you are happy with morning and evening birdsong, children playing in the school playground up the road and church bell ringing at the Norman Church up the road every Tuesday evening and Sunday morning.

The cottage has two comfortable bedrooms, sleeping up to four people- a double and a twin, a bathroom and a shower room. The large kitchen dining room has patio doors to the small garden (with garden furniture and barbeque). The kitchen is equipped for 'proper' cooking if you want to do that and also has a microwave and dishwasher and washing machine. A comfortable sitting room has TV & DVD player, Radio and CD player, ipod dock, lots of board games, an eclectic selection of books and about 30 DVDs. Although it is centrally heated, it has an open fireplace (a small starter basket of logs is provided).

The village and surrounding area is perfect for many different types of holidaymakers - theatre and art gallery lovers, those interested in beautiful scenery, old buildings and history, keen shoppers who will find treasures both antique and modern in the many little towns around, cyclists, walkers, or just those who want to wind down and relax and enjoy eating out in one of the many highly rated 'gastro-pubs' around.
